This site was created by a group of Jewish descendants from Slawatycze, Poland. In 2008, after years of planning we gathered in Slawatycze to rededicate the Jewish Cemetery which had been desecrated and destroyed by the Nazi invaders in 1939. We worked to honor our ancestors and to foster the memory of Jewish participation and contributions to the culture, economy, and religious achievements of the village and region.
